Know Your MCERF Board Members – Brian Caufield

November 28, 2018

In each installment of this series, we will profile a member of the Mechanical Contracting Education & Research Foundation’s (MCERF) Board of Trustees. These volunteers represent the association’s contractor, service, and manufacturer/supplier members, as well as its local affiliates and academic advisers. They work behind the scenes providing resources to ensure MCAA’s success in meeting education and research challenges confronting its members.

Brian Caufield is Vice President – Pipe, Valves, Fittings at Mueller Industries. He  joined the MCERF Board of Trustees in 2012. He is serving his third term as a Trustee, his first being the filling of an unexpired term of a fellow Trustee, who for business-related reasons, could not complete his term.

“I am proud to be serving as a Trustee on the Foundation.  Working with, and on behalf of, the Foundation has been very rewarding to me professionally and personally.  I am truly humbled to have been asked by the Foundation to serve multiple terms as it has allowed me the privilege to be part of the inception, creation and execution of some really exciting initiatives; the Internship Program and the Great Futures Forum to name just two.  I look forward to continuing to work with MCERF and its efforts to provide education and research to members of our industry.  It is our people, that at the end of the day, who are our greatest asset.”

Brian is a thirty plus year industry veteran with extensive experience in sales, marketing and customer relations.  He brings a passion and commitment to developing long term relationships with customers and peers in the industry.
