Charlotte Garvanne and Adam Fried Have Joined the MCAA Staff

July 7, 2025

MCAA is pleased to welcome the two newest members of the staff: Charlotte Garvanne and Adam Fried.

Charlotte joined the staff on June 16 as an Assistant Director, Meetings & Events supporting the Events department. She previously worked as a membership coordinator for C-Management Inc. She graduated from Towson University in Towson, MD where she served as Homecoming Director of Marketing. She has also been a speaker coordinator for an association management company, an events operations assistant for a school, and has vast experience as a customer experience specialist. In her spare time, Charlotte is a big soccer fan (Manchester United) and a dog mom to a 1.5 year old Labrador Retriever (Lulu). She also plays the saxophone when she gets a chance.

Adam became MCAA’s new Director, Digital Media on June 23, replacing Travis Pratt in that role. (Travis remains on staff as our Executive Director, Communications.) Adam comes from a diverse background of visual storytelling, having previously worked in newspaper photojournalism, as well as concert, wedding, and event photography. He graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park as a history major, and enjoys reading, rock climbing, and woodworking in his free time.

Please join us in welcoming Charlotte, Adam, and their families to the MCAA staff family.
